Or maybe a lot.

Anyway, I've started public school. Started last week, actually, but I've decided to blog about it now because I'm a dork like that. Anyway, the system is set up on the computer, and all you do is listen to a 'lecture,' take a quiz, take a test, and you're done with that section. Bing, bang, boom. There're only like, ten sections in a course, so ideally, if you put in like eight hours of school a day on one subject, then you could finish a course in like, two days. But I'm not quite that dedicated.

Anyway, the quizzes are multiple answer and essay questions, like any other. However, the computer doesn't have a good way of grading essay questions. Once you 'turn it in,' and it automatically grades it, it just gives you a recommended answer. If you did or didn't have that answer dun matter; it counts it as correct anyway, since it can't tell the difference. So unless you miss a multiple question answer, then you're guaranteed a 100%. The teachers don't go back and look at the answers, so ideally you could just put 'ljsdjkldjflskdjfuck shit damn spock Mr. Watson is a douche bag sdlkjfsl' and it would count the answer as correct. AHAHAHA.

Now, to the cheating part. You can 'pre-test' through sections by taking the quiz at the end. If you get at least a seventy, then you don't have to do that section of the course. It skips you through it. So I've been pre-testing the shit out of Biology because I just Google the answers. AHA. Then I type the answers in a Word document and save them for studying later. All they do with the tests is take the questions from the quiz and transfer them over, so I can just copy-pasta my answer. AND THE TEACHER WILL NEVER KNOW BECAUSE THEY DON'T CHECK THEM. AHAHAHA. But I remember everything I put in, so I'm learning something, too, I'm just doing it faster than normal. : D

AND THE TEACHERS DON'T NOTICE. As long as you look 'engaged' in your work, then they don't bother you. They walked right by me numerous times as I was copying down the answers to the tests, and did nothing. I had Google open, looking up the answers with them over my shoulder, AND THEY DID NOTHING.

So really, I don't feel bad about this at all. I need to fly through these courses to catch up, and as long as I'm remembering what I put in for the answers, then yay me. : D

Okay so my mom's friend emailed her about something that happened to her. Apparently she was at home cleaning, and someone taped a flyer to her door. She thought nothing of it, and went on cleaning. Then a man in a red Pontiac came up to her door and banged on it very loudly. She didn't answer because she didn't know him, so he went away. Then the car came back, and the PASSENGER came up and banged on the door. She was really nervous at that point. Then she heard her back gate slam and saw shadows of men around her pool in the back yard, so she locked all the back doors and called the police. She got the car license plate and the description, and the police chased them, but didn't catch them. This happened in my town. REALLY close to my house.

So now I'm kind of nervous of being alone. T_T I don't think anything will happen, but since I'm the only one home, I locked all the doors, closed all the blinds, shut the curtains and whatnot. I know on the security console there's a button that summons the police, and I know Daddy's gun is in his sock drawer, and to not answer the door if it's someone I don't know, but I'm still paranoid haha.
