But I just learned that mah buddy won't be comin in for the con. Therefore, I've ordered a Mikami wig and will just Death Note it up. Again. Sigh. I like Death Note, but I was really tryin to deviate from it a bit. xD I could ideally go in a Hogwarts costume or Zuko or something. But at A-kon there was a serious lack of Avatar cosplayers, and while it would be fun to sneer at everyone and call them Mudbloods, I'd probably have the same issue: lack of Hogwarts cosplayers. So I'd be sort of alone. HOWEVER I know there are always tons of Death Note cosplayers, and while it makes me less unique, it means I fit in with a crowd I can hang with because we're all from the same show, ya dig?

So yes. That's my plan. My wig will come in some time this week, and I'll be sure to camwhore plenty. Also, my Slytherin-themed Converse should be here tomorrow, which I'm also excited about. :D

Hahaha every time my dad and I go to see a movie at the Studio Movie Grill, I order coffee. However, the person who takes and orders and the person who delivers the food is different, so every time we order, the server tries to give my dad the coffee and me his diet Pepsi. We're both like 'um ew' and switch. I just find this funny because my dad hates coffee more than he hates Obama, and it always baffles everyone when I order coffee at a restaurant and my parents order like, Coke and stuff.

Also uber excited about my costume design for Infinitusss. HPDFW is going to rock the house next year, so beware. Totally jealous of all the HPDFW-siders (if anyone knows what I did there, then KUDOS TO YOU) who got to goooo. I hate missin out on funtiems.

Oh, and to those who remember/care, I got accepted to the charter school and will start on the twenty-forth. Sigh. I'm excited and bummed at the same time. I have to wear a uniform WUTWUT SADFAIS.

Y'all are prolly sick of hearing about what my family thinks of my weight BUTBUT my brother approached me yesterday and was all leiksrs and stuff. Apparently my eating habits are going to drive mom into drinking and will make daddy sad. And it apparently 'makes me worried,' from Merlon. Oh, and his girlfriend is apparently scared for my life. WTF

ANYWAY. So my brother said he was, starting July, going to make me work out with him and eat with him and stuff. 2000 calories a day (ugh kill me please), jogging, weights, pushups, chin-ups, all that shit. He promised I'd be a lot more toned. I told him if I got fat then I was becoming bulimic. xD

So I'm kinda scared but hopefully it will work. I mean, muscles, hell to the yeah, but I'm afraid of eating. Well, not eating, but eating that much. T_T

In other news, some friends and I just got plans made for a hotel for Infinitus and a villa at Disney. :] And I'm totally going to Hot Topic today to buy all the new Slytherin merch and the Draco shirt because HELLO THE FIRST DRACO SHIRT THEY'VE RELEASED OMGYAY.

The title basically says it all. Class was extra long today, and the Lady Isis hadn't shown up yet, so it was like. Well. They sort of need to know this dance by August. And I know the dance. SO I SHALL TAKE ISIS'S STAGE AND BREAK IT DOWN.

It was slightly terrifying. Especially when Isis DID show up and was like oh, carry on, Drake, I'll just watch you. Then my mind was on don'tmessupdon'tmessupdon'tmessup.

I really shouldn't be a teacher. xD I'm so impatient. I don't seem to understand when someone else doesn't understand something. Usually of the opinion that well, I understand it, so therefore you should understand it, too.

On another exciting note, I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD IN DECEMBER. AND RYAN MIGHT BE GOIN WITH ME. Anyone else gonna be there? xD Doubt it, just thought I'd inquire. And then I'll be going back to Orlando for Infinitus next year. Guh. The Infinitus plan reeeeally needs to be fine-tuned. But I won't be able to until closer to the convention. X_x Am I driving, flying? Who from HPDFW will be going? Will I use my Vacation points to get a villa for myself on the Disney grounds, or will I stay in a hotel closer to the theme park? Will I have roomies? Will I rent a car or taxi it? What will I wear? How long will it take for me to kill myself? *headdesk* Guhhh.

Well, Thursday was slowassday. Mostly it was just pick up badge, and wait until Friday. I didn't realize Chelsea was going to abandon me immediately upon getting our rooms, so I was alone for most of Thursday. xDD So I bought Internet and Internetted for a bit.

Friday was fun, except that morning. I had forgotten my liquid latex at home somehow, so Merlon brought it up to me an hour later. I ended up being Ron Weasley for a little while until the latex arrived, to which I promptly switched to Zuzu. :] THEN the funtiems started. No one was impressed with Ron, but for some reason everyone LOOOOVED Zuko. There was a surprising lack of Avatar characters to molest. D: There was me, one male Toph, one female Toph who worked in Artist Alley, and like, three other Zuko's, one of which had a Katara (so I couldn't molest either of them). One Zuko was wearing a costume that I don't remember from the season, but he had the scar and the Fire Nation emblem on it, so I knew he was Zuzu. Then there was the one with Katara who had a costume like mine, only he had the Fire Nation bun thing. Then there was 'fat Zuko' as Chelsea called him, who was in third-season Zuko costume as well, only his scar was Sharpie'd on or something.

My scar was the coolest, beeteedubya.

THEN SOKKA SHOWED UP. Only no one recognized him. xDD But I molested Sokka plenty. As can be seen in this video.



We went to a panel for Prop Making and Lifecasting, but the first part sucked. xDD Their DVD played wouldn't sync up with the TV, so we got a half-hour of 'ask the propmaker questions and I'll answer even though it doesn't pertain to anyone else.' Lifecasting was awesome, though. Srsly. Ryan kept the leftover resin.

Met up with an old friend as well, which was nice. Sunday was slightly sucky. xDD I went to bed at 2AM on Saturday, and then two hours later we get an announcement over the hotel speakers that there was 'an alarm and we're investigating it.' Well, I had no fucken idea what they were on about, but I looked around and allmyroommatesweregone. So I sort of freaked out. Turned out Taryn left another helpful note, so I knew they were fine, but ya know, in a hotel room during some time of alarm by myself omgwtffindChelsea. So I ran to Chelsea and Rickey's room (with enough sense to bring my shit with me so I could get back into MY room), hung out there, and then another announcement. 'There was no need for the alarm, sorry for the inconvenience.' No, sir, YOU are an inconvenience! So at 4:30 AM, sleepy time, but DRAKIE HAD NOOO SLEEEEP. I could not get back to sleep. So I got out of bed at like, 7 and tried not to die.

So then I met back up with Ryan as Fred and George, and we spent the rest of the morning in the Westin food court. Coffee and food made me feel better. Then we hung out with Sky and Liir. Turns out Chelsea's mom wanted to get her at NOON so we had to haul ass to check out and get her shit to the car, which was hell in a hand basket. Then Ryan was leaving. Then everyone was gone. So I left afterwards. And I got home and was like haigaisi'mbackgoodnight.

And I slept from 2PM till 7AM. : D I am well rested. And now I'm considering seeing the Star Trek movie again. WHO'S WITH ME.

I'm sitting here on my nastyass floor, gluing the yellow stripe to my Zuko boots, and I can't think of any better way to pass the time waiting for the glue to dry than posting an LJ entry.

Chelsea and I finally beat Left 4 Dead, so we're officially awesome now. I just finished sewing the yellow stripes to my Zuko shirt, so that's done. I'm almost finished with this English class. My hair is almost long enough for Jet in September (whose costume I'm almost finished with, too).

I tortured a student driver yesterday. I kept getting close on his ass and stopping really close behind him at lights. Then I finally passed him, and Chelsea made faces at them as I did. It was awesome.

A-kon is next week and I'm sofuckingpsyched. This will definitely be the best one yet. I don't know how I know this, but I do. (Ahh, first boot done.)

Been updating my fiction journal like crazy. Someone should stop me.

Alright, so I have a cosplay structure thing where I have one or two single cosplays, which is where it's just me, and then group or couple cosplays where me and someone else wear corresponding cosplays. Here's my cosplay schedule:

Strangely, these are all group cosplays. I have a Mello for my Matt, an L for my Light, and a Kaoru for my Hikaru. And, funnily enough, my L and Kaoru are the same awesome person! :D

Hikaru [Ouran High School Host Club]
Once again, both group cosplays. So, why, Drakie, are you writing only about group cosplays? Well, I am planning more cosplays for the future! Here's my planned cosplay list:

Hey, y'all. Just a little update on my cosplaying! For Animefest I'm still planning on going as Near, but now my Matt cosplay is mostly finished, I just have to wait for the costume pieces to arrive. xD I have the vest that Mom and I made, gloves, pants, and boots. The goggles coming in are from peepers.com and the shirt I got from ebay. They will hopefully arrive next week.

In other news, since I've been asked by a few people, no, I am no longer dating Liir, AKA, Laila. She was simply too immature and her familial situation was non-negotiable. Meaning, I will not deal with her homophobe parents and hide from them all the time. Sorry, no. xD I don't do that shit.
