I sort of abandoned the HP fandom. xD I really miss writing and editing and reviewing. Obviously, I still have a few stories I edit for HP, but even the beta work has been coming in slowly. I have this problem about wanting to be in a fandom, so I try really hard to post and contribute, but then I just never seem to fit in, so I quit and try to find something else, even though I didn't REALLY want to quit in the first place.

I do this in real life, too, and I need to stop. X_x If I want to make friends, then I need to stick with something. Just when I think I've worked up the nerve to get back into the HP fandom, I start thinking, 'Oh, I bet no one remembers me and I'll be all the way back at negative square one. T_T' and I then proceed to lose the aforementioned nerve.

I've been trying to write a few things, but I really have no one to talk to about them as WIPs. Obviously, when they're posted, I can comment on them all I want, but I don't have anyone to help me through writing it and inspire me. This is usually the work of a beta, but I have yet to find one that I get along with. Or that, you know, BETAS. I'll get one from PI, and then it'll be six months later with no word of the chapter being edited. And then I can't get into contact with them. So then I have to email Asli, have her remove me from the beta's system so I can reapply with someone else that's HOPEFULLY more reliable. That, or they'll abandon my fic halfway through because of their own busy lives. I can respect a busy life, but if you don't have time for a fic, THEN DO ACCEPT IT AND GET MY HOPES UP GAAAABLAHBLAHSDKLFJIE:FJ.

Lately I've really been into the Avatar fandom, and I have a Jetko fic that I'm working on that's been untouched for weeks now. X_x WHY CAN'T I PICK SOMETHING AND STICK TO IT!? GAAAH. *sob*
